Why should I volunteer?
Volunteers are an essential part of our consignment sale. It is important for there
to be several "hands on deck" to help check out, to help with carrying large loads
to the cars, to straighten racks and tables, and to welcome customers. All of these
easy things to do make our consignment sale more comfortable, welcoming and
convenient for buyers.
There is also an advantage to volunteering for 3 or more hours, you get to shop at the
Pre-Sale! This sale is for volunteers only and often means you get first choice on items.
To shop at this sale, you must:
- Consign at least 20 items and volunteer for 3 or more hours.
- Or volunteer at least 6 hours
- Consignors who volunteer 6 hours or more, shop the earliest! They get a 1 hour head start
on the other volunteers.
